It’s as a Staff Engineer, with Knights Piesold, they are a large Civil Engineering firm based in downtown Vancouver, and specialise in Water and Environmental Engineering. Their head office is in Vancouver, and there are about 200 employees world wide, with offices in Australia (Perth), Argentina, USA, Chile, Ghan, Peru and South Africa. The job will include some site visits, which could include exotic locations such as Nunavit up near the Arctic, and he is very excited. He will be in an Engineer in Training role, which is like an Apprenticeship, a professional in training, which means he will work for them for four years, then he can become a professional Engineer.
Tomorrow he will inform Cypress Mountain that he would like to go to part time, and work Friday evenings and Saturday days ski and snow board instructing. He is looking good and has lost about 3 kgs from ski instructing.
Cheers to Mark!!
